The role involves planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating all aspects of the Molding department. A critical component of this position is to provide strong leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for both salaried and hourly employees within the department. The leader in this role will be expected to drive continuous improvement, ensure efficient production processes, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and team engagement..

Job Summary
- Manage all aspects of Molding, including but not limited to resource and risk management activity.
- Create and oversee and Capital Expenditure/Expenses/Budget.
- Problem Solving/Continuous Improvement.
- Direct/Support Molding project related improvement activity including but not limited to New Model, Supplemental Tools, Equipment Installs and Molding Facilities in general.
- Manpower Planning & Rationalization.
- Associate Development.
- Trouble shoot Molding tools, machines, processes, etc.
- Schedule/ track / report all machine and mold performance, utilizing plant systems and processes.
- Other Duties as Assigned.

- Conducts performance evaluations for direct report associates and provides support / training as needed.
- Provides strong leadership to subordinate personnel.
- Interacts with various levels of associates.
- Analyzes technology, resource needs, market demand, and confers with all departments to assess feasibility of projects
- Improves manufacturing proficiency levels to meet plant goals and objectives.
- Maintains knowledge of all processes, procedures, and equipment within functional area.
- Coordinates and recommends cost savings and efficiency ideas for the functional area. And facility.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization needed.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written methods
- Minimum 5 or more years’ experience in injection molding, processing and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties
- 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
- Molding and Assembly operations
- Basic experience required in PowerPoint
- Intermediate experience required in Windows, MSWord, and Excel

Working Conditions
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting
- Standing, walking, and bending for the duration of the work day
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen
- Full Motor Skills
- Regular viewing of computer monitors, and other visual displays.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal direct supervision or daily direction.
- On-site work will be within factory office/plant floor setting, where noise can be present.
