Brief Description
AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking an In-Patient RN for our weekend day position at our Hospice Home facility in Burlington. This position is full-time every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 7:30am - 8:00pm. CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Job Summary
Assess and identify patient/caregiver problems, establish patient/caregiver care goals, and identify and implement interventions. Work with attending physician to establish and implement medical plan of care for the patient. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationship with patient and caregiver, including providing emotional support and teaching. Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members, patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals and community service organizations. Supervise Hospice Aide on shift.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Must be currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standings with NCBON.
- One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health setting, or long-term care setting plus.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
