Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership and Leadership:
  • Collaborate closely with the CNO to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with the organization's clinical goals and objectives.
  • Provide high-level strategic analysis, insights, and recommendations to the CNO on emerging healthcare trends, clinical innovations, and best practices.
  • Lead strategic planning sessions and drive the implementation of strategic nursing initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee and optimize nursing and clinical operations, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement operational standards and processes to enhance efficiency, patient safety, and clinical outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on key clinical and operational metrics, driving continuous quality improvement.
  • Program and Project Management:
  • Lead complex projects and programs, including clinical innovation initiatives, regulatory compliance projects, and technology-driven nursing workflows.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Serve as a central coordinator for critical initiatives, ensuring clear communication and alignment among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Clinical Governance and Regulatory Affairs:
  • Support oversight of credentialing, licensure, compliance records, and clinical governance frameworks.
  • Support regulatory compliance strategies, preparing for audits and inspections, and responding proactively to emerging regulatory requirements.
  • Thought Leadership and Communication:
  • Assist the CNO in drafting white papers, policy briefs, and industry reports to enhance organizational thought leadership.
  • Develop and manage internal and external communications related to nursing and clinical operations.
  • Meeting and Event Coordination:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute nursing panels, workshops, conferences, and speaking engagements.
  • Compile and distribute meeting notes, action items, and follow-up tasks promptly as needed.
  • Facilitate the recruitment, onboarding and execution of the clinical advisory council.
