The Commercial Producer/Director works directly with Marketing Specialists to conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit high-quality commercials for local advertisers. This role plays a key part in ensuring that commercial content effectively communicates the client’s message, fits within the budget, and is completed efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Marketing Specialists and clients to understand campaign goals.
- Conceptualize and write compelling commercial scripts using client input and information gathered via the Doyle Time-Out Call process.
- Shoot and edit video for commercials and other projects using non-linear editing systems.
- Manage multiple production schedules and complete projects within tight deadlines.
- Maintain professional communication with Marketing Specialists, clients, and internal teams.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and assist with other station projects as assigned.
- Present a cooperative and professional attitude and appearance at all times.
- Strong writing and conceptual storytelling ability for video.
- Effective communicator and collaborator.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task, take constructive direction, and remain calm under pressure.
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. to support on-location shoots.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to occasionally work nights or weekends.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro and After Effects Artist).
- Experience operating cameras, lighting kits, microphones, audio boards, and video routers.
- Working knowledge of television station operations and non-linear editing systems.
- Comfortable with basic lighting and camera techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in television production, Broadcasting, or a related field (Preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in video production or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on training (Required)
- Experience producing commercials for television (Preferred)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required)
- Ability to work occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.
