Member of the Maritime Services and Design Team responsible for ship check for existing configuration; safety evaluation and training; work item and cost estimate development; assist with shipyard inspections and required alterations; AutoCAD drawing development in company required format; design calculations for structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Bachelor’s Degree mechanical engineering or other similar engineering program.

Job Description And Requirements
Member of the Maritime Services and Design Team responsible for ship check for existing configuration; safety evaluation and training; work item and cost estimate development; assist with shipyard inspections and required alterations; AutoCAD drawing development in company required format; design calculations for structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- 5-10 years of marine mechanical or mechanical engineering experience
- Identification of new equipment and technologies to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with team members for assigned projects.
- Develop shipboard equipment operating instructions, manuals, and test memos.
- Develop maintenance procedures for marine equipment.
- Access, download and review maintenance history, maintenance requests, and inspection findings from Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and other electronic database programs.
- Demonstrates ability to devise innovative solutions to problems.
- Develops objectives, schedules, and estimates for difficult assignments.
- Oversees engineering projects.
- Review’s progress and evaluates results of work accomplished by self and others.
- Prepares reports and presents results to management and client.
Bachelor’s Degree mechanical engineering or other similar engineering program.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
