Project Manager (Full-Time)

Individuals at this level demonstrate a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering complexities, determining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guidelines for diverse engineering activities. Evidence of progressive career development within the construction industry. Minimum of 6 years related experience with projects in higher education, healthcare, laboratories, and K-12 preferred.

MAIN DUTIES

• Managing a project’s overall effort for client including managing a team, coordinating work of various project entities (designer, contractor, owner personnel). Recognized as key client contact point and decision-maker. Attends client meetings as MBP Representative. Prepares, monitors and manages client project budgets and internal budgets. Analyzes and optimizing internal and external processes.

• Business development, personnel management, maintains certifications and re-certifications, participation in company activities.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

• B.S. in industry-related field preferred. Professional registration, other job relevant certification such as CCM, CCP, or advanced specialized technical knowledge. Detailed knowledge of construction, principles of construction management and project controls, with specialized knowledge in several areas including scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, construction techniques.
