PRIMARY FUNCTION
The remote revenue cycle specialist is a non-licensed worker who has completed Encore’s billing training program. The primary function of the revenue cycle specialist is to be responsible for all insurance billing and collection of patient accounts.
SPECIAL DEMANDS
Requires a strong understanding of medical billing and a high comfort level with medical billing software. Must be able to accept responsibility and respect authority. Must demonstrate good judgment and common sense. Must be willing to work under pressure. Must be able to accept constructive criticism. Must be able to hold in confidence medical records of all patients. Must be able to work with individuals of all ages. Must be self-motivated.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years medical billing experience required.
Must live more than 30 miles from downtown Decatur, AL.
PREFERENCE
Experienced in WebPT’s Clinicient EMR
