RED RHINO is seeking a Senior Accountant to drive financial accuracy, enhance reporting processes, and influence key business decisions. This high-impact role blends advanced financial analysis with a deep understanding of accounting principles to support the company’s ongoing growth and success.
About the Role:
- Perform financial analysis and develop reports, models, and ad hoc statements to support business decisions and evolving reporting needs
- Handle general accounting tasks, including account reconciliation, ledger maintenance, and month-end/year-end close procedures
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls while improving accounting processes and documentation
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning by collaborating with business leaders
- Contribute to reporting system enhancements and process improvements for greater efficiency and insight
- Not a remote position; will need to work from our HQ office in Palm Beach Gardens
- 5+ years of experience with strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and compliance
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s preferred
- Proven ability to analyze data, produce accurate financial statements, and deliver insights through advanced reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
- Skilled in account reconciliation, general ledger management, and closing processes
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- History of enhancing financial processes and leveraging reporting systems
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams and senior leaders
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills in dynamic environments
- Salaried (exempt)
- $70k-$85k; depending on experience
