Engineering Intern

M-F 7a-4p; hours may be flexible

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, testing, & analysis of manufacturing processes & equipment.
• Develop & maintain manufacturing documentation, including process sheets & work instructions.
• Conduct research to identify new manufacturing technologies & methods.
• Work with the engineering team to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Participate in the development & implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with the implementation of quality control processes & procedures.
• Participate in safety training & adhere to safety protocols in the manufacturing environment.
• Provide support in various projects as needed, which may include drafting reports & presenting findings.
• Participate in problem solving & process improvement teams.
• Assist with inventory & production control.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Technology Engineering
• Basic understanding of engineering principles & manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in teams
