We are currently searching for a Sr. Project Manager, Architecture – Justice. This position can be a hybrid role in our Baltimore, Akron, Columbus, Pensacola or Jacksonville offices.

What You Will Do:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated licensed architect specializing in the justice market to manage our Justice projects. This position will provide the individual with an opportunity to grow their talents and increase exposure in the AE Justice market sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops Justice based master plans; facility needs assessments and programs; facilitates workshops and charrettes; develops studies and reports; and presents findings, master plans, recommendations and concepts.
- Develops design and construction documents, facilitates charrettes, develops studies and reports, field assessments, and other deliverables for Justice-related projects.
- Collaborate with PRIME AE’s inter-office divisions – MEP, Structural Engineering – as well as external subconsultants and Justice sector specialists.
- Plans and supervises the preparation of construction documents and other deliverables for projects according to client goals, needs, and budgets.
- Coordinates design disciplines, both in-house and outside consultants.
- Conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with Detailed Design Documents.
- Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and construction documentation – specifically Revit.
- May direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
- May attend Justice sector conferences.
- Registered Architect (preferably in one of the following States: Maryland, Ohio, Florida; or has NCARB certification that will allow State to State reciprocity)
- LEED Accredited Professional strongly preferred.
- 15 years’ combined experience in justice market, design and project management.
- Experienced in all phases of project design, construction documentation and construction materials.
- Strong interpersonal skills, verbal, listening and written communication, including client presentations.
- Experience with coordination of multiple design disciples required for developing complete documents.
- Proficient in Revit.
- Strong knowledge base of building codes, standards, building structures, and engineering systems.
- Strong knowledge of Justice best practices, guidelines and standards, such as, but not limited to: ACA, NIC, and NCCHC.
- Ability to travel.
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
