Position Summary:

We’re looking for a motivated, licensed Junior Loan Officer to play a hybrid role supporting a top-producing mortgage originator and assisting in the daily operations of a high-performance branch. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a full-production role while learning from one of the best in the business. You'll have your hands in everything from client interaction and file prep to team oversight and marketing execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Loan Origination & Production Support

  • Assist in pre-approvals, loan structuring, and pricing strategies under the direction of the Senior LO
  • Take initial applications, pull credit, and gather required documentation
  • Run DU/LP findings and prepare files for handoff to processing
  • Maintain contact with borrowers from application through closing to ensure a smooth experience
  • Occasionally originate your own loans (2–3 per month encouraged)

Branch Operations & Team Management

  • Serve as the operational “right hand” to the Branch Manager—anticipating needs, solving problems, and moving files forward
  • Help manage the team’s daily pipeline tasks and ensure timelines are being met
  • Coordinate meetings, file updates, team huddles, and internal communications
  • Troubleshoot issues with underwriting, disclosures, lock desk, or processing as needed
  • Keep files compliant and organized in CRM and LOS systems

Marketing & Business Development

  • Help implement and manage marketing campaigns (social media, email, client events, partner outreach)
  • Coordinate with marketing vendors or internal departments for branding, print, and promotional materials
  • Assist in tracking referral partner activity and engagement
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and content for agent meetings or client webinars
  • Maintain client databases and send out post-closing thank-you packages or review requests

Compensation:

  • Base salary (DOE)
  • Per-loan bonus on both personal and team-funded units
  • Marketing support and leads provided for the right candidate
  • Long-term career growth with mentorship from a top-producing loan officer
