Job Title: UX Designer
Location: Omaha, NE (100% Onsite)
Position Summary
We are seeking a UX Designer with 7–15 years of experience to lead user-centered design efforts for responsive, enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with strong visual, interaction, and research design skills, and excels at collaborating across product, development, and business teams.
You will be responsible for planning and executing user research, usability testing, and design solutions that address complex workflows across multiple user groups—particularly in specialized domains such as logistics and operations.

- Figma (or similar design/prototyping tools)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience designing for complex, specialized business domains.
- Leadership experience in UX projects
- Ability to guide development teams on UX implementation
- Workshop facilitation with stakeholders
- Familiarity with design systems (e.g., Material Design)
- Experience using research repositories (e.g., Dovetail)
- Ability to translate research into actionable insights
- Experience using and analyzing data from analytics tools
- Strong presentation skills, including to executive audiences
- Lead and execute user-centered design processes across full product lifecycle
- Plan and conduct user research using various methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing)
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders
- Design and iterate wireframes, UI mockups, user flows, journey maps, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Translate complex workflows into simple, usable interfaces that adhere to established design systems
- Synthesize research findings and analytics into design strategies and improvements
- Contribute to and critique designs in a matrixed UX team
- Advocate for UX best practices and user empathy across cross-functional teams
- Quickly understand logistics and railroad operations to align design with domain needs
- Produce research and design artifacts including:
- Personas, sketches, wireframes
- Visual comps, clickable prototypes
- Test plans, research scripts, and reports
- Executive-ready presentations
