Position Overview
Upswing is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Part-Time Associate Marketing Manager to support our marketing and events initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves writing and creative problem-solving, and is excited to help bring our brand to life across multiple channels. This is a remote position based in Durham, NC, with occasional in-office work as needed. You MUST be in the Durham, NC area for occasional in person work!

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Write and schedule engaging content for email campaigns, social media, and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent voice and branding across all platforms.
- Assist in developing sales and promotional materials for prospective and existing clients.
- Support the creation of newsletters, landing pages, and case studies.
- Coordinate logistics for conferences and events, including registration, sponsorship deliverables, and travel arrangements.
- Pack, ship, and track event materials and promotional items.
- Maintain event calendars and assist with post-event follow-up.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related roles.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Canva, social media platforms, and Google Workspace is a plus.
- Must be located in the Durham, NC area and available to work from the office on occasion.
