As a Graphic Designer on the National Marketing team, a typical day for you will include:
- Review design briefs and gather requirements as needed.
- Responsible for Graphic Design for an assortment of Neighborly brands as assigned. Delivering concepts and layouts for print, digital and internal presentation materials.
- Basic photo editing or retouching
- Template building in our Data Asset Management system, Brandfolder
- Maintain brand standards and consistency, applying style guidelines across all touchpoints.
- Represent the Creative Team in meetings and project briefings.
- Able to effectively communicate and present creative work.
- Collaborate cross functionally with other teams like Communications, Social Media, Marketing, PR, Operations, Digital, Executive, and effectively incorporate feedback on relevant projects.
- Share ideas and work as a part of a creative team
- Manage time wisely and work with multiple projects that greatly vary in size, importance and deadline. Always delivering assigned tasks on time.
- Prepare final files for production, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Solid understanding of how color theory and typography relate to graphic design and advertising.
- Stay current with design trends and tools, continuously learning and applying new techniques.
- Copy writing as needed

- Experience:
- Minimum: 1 year of graphic design experience (can include internships or freelance work) OR 5+ years' experience with high school diploma/GED or Associate’s Degree is acceptable Experience working in a project management platform (Monday.com or similar) is a plus
- Experience uploading and creating templates in a Data Asset Management system. (Brandfolder or similar) is a plus
- Skills:
- Must have a quality portfolio showcasing best work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Self-starter. Ability to work autonomously with little support.
- High computer literacy including strong experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required.
- Has worked in a project management platform.
- Has worked in a Data Asset Management system. Preferred, not required.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Commercial Art related field preferred
- Schedule / in-office requirements:
- This will be hybrid model schedule. Monday- Wednesday in office, Thursday/Friday from home.
- Office is located at 1010 N University Parks Ave, Waco, Tx
- Competitive Pay: Commensurate with experience
