As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team and contribute to our mission of operational excellence.

Job Overview

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for process improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Intacct, and a working knowledge of AP functions and accounting best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices; resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Enter and maintain vendor information in the ERP system.
  • Assist in weekly payment runs and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding balances or issues.
  • Support month-end close processes by preparing AP accruals and assisting with account reconciliations.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to AP processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date files, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments and vendors to resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of Accounts Payable experience in a professional accounting or finance environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel; ability to work with spreadsheets and perform basic data analysis.
