Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure that all investigations are performed with the utmost integrity and adherence to GE Aerospace Quality Management System
- Promptly address external customer concerns on supplied hardware and associated investigations
- Expedite the closure of supplier quality investigations. Minimize engine production disruptions and maximize available days to deliver product to the customer
- Provide on-site quality and technical support for suppliers as necessary
- Utilize GE Aerospace’s problem solving tools to implement robust root cause and corrective action
- Contribute to a daily management structure to measure and increase available delivery days
- Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing ) + Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience
- In depth knowledge of GE Aerospace’s Quality Management System
- Prior experience interacting with internal and external suppliers
- Prior experience interacting with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
- Strong influencing skills
- Basic engineering statistics capability
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- GE Aerospace Preliminary Review (PR) authority
- Material Review Board (MRB) Quality Chair Authority
