Description

POSITION PURPOSE

At PROtect, LLC, we are committed to providing top-tier safety, compliance, and inspection services across multiple industries, including energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our team and play a key role in attracting and hiring top talent.

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Recruiter with 2-4 years of experience to support our hiring efforts. In this role, you will source, screen, and hire qualified professionals to support our expanding operations in NDT. You will work closely with hiring managers, build a pipeline of strong candidates, and ensure a seamless and efficient hiring process. The ideal candidate will have experience in Oil & Gas, Construction, Pipeline, and/or NDT recruiting roles.

This is a hybrid role located in Lenexa, KS

Essential Functions And Basic Duties

  • Talent Sourcing: Identify and engage with top candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire hiring process, from job posting and screening to interviews and offers.
  • Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Candidate Experience: Provide a professional and positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Job Posting & Branding: Create compelling job descriptions and promote opportunities across multiple platforms.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong network of talent for current and future hiring needs.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all hiring processes align with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required.

Required knowledge and experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in the safety, compliance or nondestructive testing industries.
  • Strong understanding of technical and field-based roles in oil and gas, energy and safety and compliance industries.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing software to identify passively sourced candidates.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple job openings across multiple departments and hiring managers.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific certification requirements.
  • Knowledge of hiring compliance and labor laws.

Physical Activities And Requirements Of This Position

Talking: Superior ability to speak effectively and communicate clearly.

Average Hearing: Ability to hear average conversations.

Repetitive Motion: The employee is regularly required to type throughout the day as well as stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for long periods of time.

Finger Dexterity: The employee is regularly required to use hands to type and maneuver a mouse.

Average Vision: Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Physical Strength: This job may require lifting of up to 50 pounds occasionally as well as ascending heights to 300 feet.

Travel: Up to 25% travel is expected, to attend career fairs and school visits.

Mental Activities And Requirements Of This Position

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to effectively communicate with customers and relay information to the appropriate PROtect team members. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in varying situations.

Mathematics Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of PROtect.
