We’re hiring a junior Software Engineer with 2-4 years of experience who’s eager to learn, excited to contribute across a variety of technical areas, and committed to getting things done. You will contribute to regulated medical device software projects. You will also develop and maintain CMD’s SaaS and internal software tools.
This is a hands-on, fast-moving role for someone who’s curious, detail-oriented, and thrives on responsibility. If you’re a builder, a finisher, and someone who isn’t afraid to take initiative—you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do

You will contribute to regulated medical device software projects. You will also develop and maintain CMD’s SaaS and internal software tools.

What You’ll Do
- Contribute to medical device software development projects as a consulting engineer
- Own and evolve CMD’s internal tools and platforms (Python, web apps, SQL, Docker)
- Translate needs into working solutions, then polish, document, and support them
- Grow your technical and domain expertise across diverse, real-world projects
- Contribute to CMD’s collaborative, values-first culture
- Solid working knowledge of a variety of software tools and platforms (embedded to web)
- Basic understanding of Large Language Models, Agents, and Prompt Engineering
- A builder’s mindset—you enjoy solving problems and seeing things through
- Willingness to learn medical device industry standards and tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things right the first time
