VetsEZ is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead Agile software development teams supporting DevSecOps initiatives for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role involves overseeing end-to-end project delivery, managing cross-functional team performance, and ensuring project objectives are aligned with VA’s mission and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of project management initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for DevSecOps related projects.
- Define and manage project scope, timelines, resource plans, and deliverables in alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Partner with technical leads to support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure modernization.
- Track and report on Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to monitor progress and identify risks early.
- Serve as the primary liaison between VA stakeholders and internal development teams, ensuring transparency and timely communication.
- Promote process improvements, governance, and quality assurance across delivery teams to uphold security and compliance.
- Coordinate with leadership to manage dependencies across products and align priorities within the broader portfolio.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- 8+ years of project management experience, preferably in a federal or healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated success leading Agile software development teams using DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and secure development lifecycle practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Kanban agile methods is highly desired.
- SAFe Agilist or other Agile certifications.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile frameworks.
