Job Description

Provide support and assistance in the management and operations of personnel program support to the Commander Support Staff (CSS) for the Headquarters Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) assigned personnel.

Education

Provide management and technical assistance that includes the Civilian Development Education, Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP), AcqNow, recurring/ancillary training, and the MyTraining platform. Assists with training, such as web-based or computer-based training software or systems and tasks that includes but is not limited to:

Provides HR support/customer service to military, and Government civilians, daily. Maintains applicable personnel database, of all employees and manages in- and out- processing.

Provide technical assistance and tracking of activities related to personnel recalls and organizational exercises reporting requirements (i.e., strength reporting).

Update/Maintain the Leave Program, Duty Status reporting, Orders processing and other personnel management activities (i.e., AFPAAS).

Assist in managing the military personnel program workload (i.e., Promotion tracking, UIF management), and updating/managing the MILPDS, MyFSS, and vPC systems.

Assist in managing the Senior Leader programs to include promotion board prep, compiling of senior leader records, and management of the STARS data for accuracy.

Works with Executive Officer to update duty titles, raters, positions, and other personnel data for military members.

Reviews, maintains, and supports updates to the Unit Manning Document (UMD) to reflect new gains, losses, Security Access Requirement (SAR) codes, duty title changes and any division/branch personnel changes.

Assists in training, implementation and execution of policies, practices and procedures through various venues, working groups, Integrated Process Team (IPT), independent assessment visit, consultation visits and tailored instruction.

Coordinates all reserve man days and long tour orders, to include funding. Manages deployment training for military personnel within deployment window.

Track and monitor civilian appraisal processes including midterm progress reviews, annual appraisals and submissions for cash and time off awards.

Reviews, updates, and tracks awards.

Required Experience

10+ years military personalist (USSF/USAF preferred) experience.

Expert knowledge of USSF and USAF personnel and manpower programs/policies/processes.

Proficient in USSF/USAF personnel systems/tools/databases, such as MilPDS, myFSS, LeaveWeb, AFPAAS, vPC, vMPF, MPES, myEval, myVector, myTraining, and STARS.

Knowledge of USSF and USAF military and civilian appraisal processes and systems.

Knowledge of civilian personnel hiring and development processes/programs.

Familiar with AFRS processes for man days and long tours.

Familiar with USSF/USAF deployment process.

In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $100,000.00 - 115,000.00; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location, and often contractual requirements.
