We’re looking for a Business Intelligence & Process Analyst who thrives at the intersection of people, process, and data. In this role, you’ll work closely with project managers and operational leaders to uncover opportunities for improvement and turn them into actionable data products. Your ability to listen, collaborate, and translate business challenges into clear analytical solutions will be your most valuable asset. You will be a key part of the growing Data & Analytics team at Knutson.
You will initially work primarily with Knutson’s Self-Perform division, one of our key strategic growth areas, with continuing opportunities to partner with other departments in the future. This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on how we plan, budget, and execute projects - by helping teams make smarter, data-informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Projected Maximum Base Salary per year $105,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to understand evolving business needs, operational pain points and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with the Self-Perform team initially (Director of Self-Perform, General Superintendent of Self-Perform, and others) to advance ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Translate business needs into data products, from defining metrics to building dashboards and reports.
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights to field and office teams.
- Use SQL to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
- Partner with the Data & Analytics Manager to support the development of data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Communicate findings and recommendations in a clear, approachable way to both technical and non-technical audiences, through innovative data visualization methods.
- Review, map and document existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation or improvement.
- Collaborate to maintain awareness of, and support, change management initiatives related to new tools, reports, or workflows.

- A detail-oriented, analytical thinker.
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business Analytics, Construction Management, Data Science, or similar.
- 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and data analysis.
- Experience applying process mapping tools and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to think critically and creatively to solve business problems.
- Familiarity with Python and/or Databricks.
- Familiarity with Agile or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems.
- Experience in construction, field operations, or project-based environments.
- Exposure to data pipeline development and ELT processes.
