Description:

We are seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Content & Advertising Lead to take ownership of our social presence across all entity platforms and lead advertising efforts across multiple digital channels. This individual will be the driving force behind translating our brand’s expertise, authenticity, and vibrant energy into compelling content that builds momentum, increases visibility, and drives meaningful engagement.

The ideal candidate is both a storyteller and a strategist—someone who can oversee content planning and execution, manage campaigns, and ensure alignment with business goals while maintaining our unique voice and brand presence.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, Reddit, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Identify key goals around engagement, follower growth, brand awareness, and conversions, and build campaigns to support them.
  • Conduct regular audits of social media performance and content trends, adjusting strategy accordingly.
  • Lead and manage paid advertising efforts across digital channels including but not limited to Google Ads, Pinterest Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, and emerging platforms.
  • Develop and execute ad strategies to support product launches, remarketing efforts, and overall conversion goals.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop high-performing creative assets for paid campaigns.
  • Track advertising performance, manage budgets, and optimize campaigns for ROI and audience targeting.

Content Creation & Management:

  • Lead the development and calendarization of all organic social content, in alignment with product launches, brand campaigns, and seasonality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to source ideas and amplify core brand pillars.
  • Write, edit, and oversee multimedia content while collaborating with cross functional leaders/team members (text, photo, video, reels, stories) that showcases our expertise and life force.
  • Coordinate with influencers, creators, and UGC partners to develop brand-aligned social assets.

Community Engagement & Growth:

  • Assist with monitoring social conversations, respond to comments and DMs, and engage meaningfully with followers to build brand loyalty.
  • Activate and grow our community by creating interactive and shareable content experiences.
  • In the future, assist with coordinating content collaborations with industry experts.

Project Management:

  • Oversee campaign timelines, asset development, platform scheduling, and performance tracking.
  • Use project management tools to ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration and accountability.
  • Track KPIs, prepare monthly performance reports, and optimize efforts based on insights.
  • Assist with competitive price comparison and digital advertising analysis across platforms, including identifying market trends, evaluating competitor promotions, and providing actionable insights to support pricing updates and ad strategy decisions.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably within eCommerce, DTC, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven ability to grow social channels and build engaged communities.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital advertising across platforms such as Google Ads, Pinterest, Meta, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of each social platform’s ecosystem, content types, and analytics.
  • Skilled in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, Later, Hootsuite) and short-form video trends.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Passionate about brand authenticity, aesthetics, and culture.
  • Experience working with creators/influencers and managing partnerships is a plus.
