Salary Range: $64,784 - $97,186
The Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority is accepting applications for the position of Cybersecurity Technician III. Duties include monitoring and managing hardware and software systems to ensure maximum uptime, optimal performance, and robust protection against internal and external security threats. The Cybersecurity Technician III will also design, implement, and enforce security protocols and policies to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Essential Job Functions include:
an associate's degree in information systems with a focus on Cyber Security; and three years of experience providing cybersecurity services; and Security+ and Cisco Cyber OPS certification. Bachelor's degree in cyber security and additional certifications in CISSP, Network+, CEH, and CASP+ are preferred

Essential Job Functions include:
- Cybersecurity support to various devices, personnel, and systems on Huntsville Airport's integrated systems network. Systems include the Parking Revenue System (PARCS), Flight Information System (FIDS), Security System's IP-based components, Phone System, Cisco Switches and Access Points, Palo Alto Firewalls, Wi-Fi, Shared Use Technology, Dell Servers and Storage Arrays, Backup Solutions, Access Control Systems, Video Storage Solutions, and other network-based hardware and software.
- Conduct cyber-awareness training and testing for all internal staff members
- Ensure implementation of technical security controls to achieve compliance with applicable security guidelines established by the National Institute of Standards and Technology ("NIST") in conjunction with system administrators at network and domain levels.
- Regularly review alerts in the EDR platform and initiate incident response procedures where necessary.
