Position Overview

As the Area Director of Corporate Locations, you will serve as the overarching leader of the KidStrong Corporate portfolio. This pivotal role demands a strategic visionary who is adept at translating broad visions into actionable strategies, ensuring operational excellence across all facets of the business. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of employee management, from recruitment and onboarding to development and retention, ensuring that our team is empowered and aligned with our mission. Your daily responsibilities will include overseeing operations, enhancing member experience, and driving performance metrics. Committed to the KidStrong standards of excellence, you will ensure that all KidStrong centers within the DFLEX portfolio not only meet but exceed their operational and financial objectives, embodying our commitment to building strong, confident, and capable kids. This role requires a dynamic leader who is mission-driven, metrics-focused, and dedicated to fostering an environment of excellence and growth at every level.

Key Accountabilities For This Role Include

Center Operations:

Oversee the execution of daily operations across all KidStrong Centers, ensuring seamless operations and consistently high-quality experiences for members. Monitor and refine operational procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Team Experience

  • Lead the District Manager in cultivating a leadership pipeline within the organization. Recruit, hire, train, and retain top talent, focusing on developing a skilled and motivated team.
  • Inspire and lead the team towards achieving operational excellence and elevated member experiences.
  • Implement comprehensive leadership development programs to enhance coach skills, increase knowledge, and improve retention rates.
  • Guide team decisions, foster engagement, provide ongoing support, and maintain high levels of accountability, urgency, and effectiveness.

Member Experience

  • Uphold and enhance the member experience by developing and executing innovative strategies to increase membership and expand the reach of KidStrong Centers.
  • Develop and execute plans to increase membership and expand the reach of KidStrong Centers
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service excellence and member retention, ensuring members' needs and expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to craft and implement effective marketing campaigns designed to attract new members and build community presence.

Business Acumen And Analytics

  • Create and manage the annual budget with strategic foresight.
  • Oversee P&L management, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Meet or exceed company KPIs.
  • Develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth, optimize profitability, and maximize operational efficiencies.
  • Regularly monitor financial performance, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to enhance financial health and reduce costs.

HQ Partnership

  • Serve as the primary liaison between center leadership and all departments at KidStrong Headquarters.
  • Build strong, cross-functional relationships that foster collaboration and enhance organizational performance.
  • Pilot and evaluate new initiatives, providing feedback and insights to elevate overall performance and operational efficiencies across the KidStrong Nation.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in multi-unit operations management, preferable in a membership-based fitness or child development setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing and guiding teams.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills in addition to strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and take initiative, lead by example and possess honesty, integrity, and accountability.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving operational targets.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze financial data and make strategic decisions based on findings.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
