Role Description
This is a 100% remote role for a Patient Service Coordinator. The Patient Service Coordinator works as a liaison between patients and the facility with the primary role of providing excellent patient service. This position will field phone calls from patients, help answer patient questions by listening, educating, and problem solving. The Patient Service Coordinator must be able to quickly identify patient needs and work to resolve issues in a friendly and professional matter. The Patient Care Coordinator will communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to coordinate, schedule, and help overall manage patient scheduling. This person must work well in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job Duties
- Prepares and maintains daily schedules of all providers
- Manages referrals, tracking all outreach attempts
- Obtains and inputs accurate scheduling and registration data
- Provides appropriate notification of issues that may result in service delays or denials
- Handles add-ons, reschedules, and cancellations appropriately and as per facility protocol
- Assist providers and patients in troubleshooting issues that may arise with connecting to appointments
- Handles phones, emails, faxes and other communications
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Experience with appointment scheduling
- Familiarity with behavioral health
- Ability to work independently and remotely with a high degree of self-motivation
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a requirement
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred
- Experience managing referrals preferred
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
