Date: 1 day ago
City: Pueblo, CO
Contract type: Full time

Job Details
The individual would serve as pastor of a small church. He would prepare sermons, visit the sick, provide counseling if needed, officiate weddings and funerals, and create other opportunities for ministry.
Grace Community Bible Church is an independent church located less than five miles outside Pueblo in southeastern Colorado. The church is in a highly populated rural area surrounded by farmland, some of which is owned by the church. It is also just 10 minutes from downtown Pueblo. Pueblo and its surrounding areas have a population of around 120,000. There is one large high school with an enrollment of about 1,000, two middle schools, and three elementary schools. One elementary school is about half a mile away. We have been allowed to hold a Good News Club at that school. The area is primarily middle class, with a mix of working-class families and professionals. It is a rural setting with a suburban feel.
The ideal candidate will have a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a deep passion for ministering to seniors in care facilities. They must believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and agree with our constitution and purpose, which can be found on the church’s website. The following qualifications are essential for success in this role:
A bachelor’s degree in Bible or Theology is preferred but not required, as well as a proven record of successful ministry experience within a local church or other church/para-church ministry organization.
More Information
The church is able to offer a salary of $1,500 per month with some benefits. This could easily grow into a full-time position with a higher salary as the ministry expands. The church does not have a parsonage but can assist in securing housing. Office space is available for the pastor. Our church is zoned residential, and it may be possible to live in part of the church building for a short time if needed.
InFaith is a nondenominational mission that empowers called and committed followers of Christ to serve with purpose and passion within the United States. With missionaries serving across the country, we use various ministry methods to accomplish one simple mission: to share Jesus with the people of our nation.
