Ring is seeking a highly strategic and articulate Senior Business Manager to join our Los Angeles-based team. Reporting to the Head of Business Management, this role acts as a vital bridge between Ring’sBusiness Team—which includes OEM management and Global Commodity Management (GCM)/procurement—and the Product and Design teams.

This individual will also coordinate closely with globally distributed stakeholder teams such as Operations, Factory Operations Program Management (FOPM), Supplier Quality Management (SQM), and others. The role includes direct engagement with external suppliers and OEM partners, making it crucial to have both operational depth and excellent relationship management skills.

The ideal candidate excels at executive communication, drives alignment across complex organizations, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Business Team and Product/Design groups, ensuring tight alignment on product development priorities, timelines, and execution.
  • Coordinate with global stakeholder teams (Operations, FOPM, SQM, etc.) to support seamless product development and launch readiness.
  • Manage external relationships with OEM partners and key suppliers, ensuring performance, accountability, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Deliver clear, concise executive-level updates and influence senior decision-makers through structured communication and strategic insights.
  • Navigate ambiguity and evolving priorities while maintaining momentum, clarity, and focus.
  • Drive continuous improvement in communication flow, process efficiency, and cross-functional coordination.

A day in the life

As a Senior Business Manager at Ring, your day often begins with reviewing updates from global stakeholders, especially Asia-based OEM, GCM, and supplier teams. You’ll follow up on urgent issues, analyze program risks, and ensure supplier and procurement partners are on track against key milestones.

Late mornings are typically spent working with LA-based Product and Design teams—clarifying requirements, syncing on product roadmaps, and making sure that business and supply-side priorities are fully integrated into development plans.

Afternoons typically include leading or joining cross-regional meetings with LAX product teams to understand evolving business needs and contribute to roadmap discussions. You may also spend time on email communications and internal document writing, distilling complex updates into clear messaging for stakeholders and leadership. Driving alignment through precise and proactive communication is a core part of your day-to-day.

You’ll often act as the glue between business and technical teams—anticipating roadblocks, surfacing risks early, and ensuring cross-functional teams are aligned on decisions, timelines, and responsibilities. Your ability to influence without authority, communicate effectively at the executive level, and maintain forward momentum in a fast-paced environment will define your impact.

About The Team

The GCM team drives strategic sourcing and supplier management for key components, supporting technology alignment, cost competitiveness, and risk mitigation.

Together, we operate at the intersection of procurement, manufacturing strategy, and supply chain operations, enabling Ring to deliver innovative, high-quality smart home products to customers worldwide.
