Position: Full-Time Admissions Coordinator
Location: Scranton, PA
Pay Range: $20.00 -$23.00 per hour

This role serves as the first point of clinical engagement for new patients and plays a pivotal role in shaping their early experience with our services. The Intake coordinator helps set the tone for the therapeutic relationship, supports appropriate triage and care planning, and ensures that patients feel seen and understood. It is ideal for clinicians looking to deepen their understanding of assessment processes, diagnostic reasoning, and integrated care pathways.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial clinical point of contact for incoming patients, introducing them to the treatment process and setting the tone for a therapeutic alliance.
- Establish rapport and foster a welcoming, supportive environment.
- Conduct structured patient interviews.
- Collaborate with clinicians and team leaders
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policies.
- Observe and monitor client behavior
- A Bachelor's degree in a recognized clinical discipline, including Social Work, Psychology, rehabilitation, Activity Therapies, or Counseling, is required.
- Technological proficiency and ability to navigate EHR systems
- Commitment to high standards of clinical care and ethical practice
- Ability and willingness to complete documentation within an established timeframe
- Reliable
- Non-judgmental attitude with the ability to listen, empathize, and accept others.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills.
- Ability to work with in a team environment
- Adherence to ethical standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Proficiency in English.
- Computer skills for electronic scheduling, billing, and future software use.
