The Role
The Research Scientist will report directly to the Principal Scientist and will contribute to new product development (NPD) efforts using recombinant approaches. This individual will be responsible for conducting laboratory-based experimental work, supporting product development projects and recombinant workflows, while contributing to the daily operations of the R&D team. The role will involve supporting operational and customer-facing activities, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of new technologies and processes.

The role will involve supporting operational and customer-facing activities, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of new technologies and processes.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Perform experimental work in support of recombinant protein development, primarily antibodyexpression, characterization and purification while using techniques in immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and cellular imaging.
- Support new product development projects by conducting laboratory testing, data collection, and documentation.
- Analyse and interpret experimental data under the guidance of senior scientific staff; communicate results in a clear and timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to help meet project goals and customer expectations.
- Participate in the development and refinement of laboratory protocols and workflows.
- Provide technical support to operations and assist with troubleshooting activities as needed.
- Carry out additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Principal Scientist.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.
- Actively engage in learning new techniques and tools relevant to recombinant antibody development.
