We are seeking for a Director, SOF Operations remotely, local to Reston, VA.
As the Director, SOF Operations, you will lead and manage a highly complex Department of Defense (DoD) weapons system program from Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) through Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) and Full Rate Production (FRP). This role requires a seasoned leader capable of managing program budgets, production schedules, and test event coordination while ensuring seamless collaboration with multiple DoD stakeholders and program offices. You will be at the forefront of delivering mission-critical capabilities to the warfighter, driving operational excellence, and ensuring program success.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00

Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.

Requirements:
- DAWIA Program Management Level II certification.
- Direct experience managing RDT&E programs through LRIP and FRP phases.
- Proven background in program budget planning, estimation, and execution.
- Experience leading and coordinating test events, including safety and performance testing.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple DoD stakeholders and program offices.
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance required
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage complex DoD acquisition programs.
- Experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) programs or similar high-visibility defense programs.
- Demonstrated success coordinating across multiple government agencies and engineering activities.
- Ability to develop and execute detailed production schedules and integrated master plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders.
- Prior experience with safety and performance test event planning and execution.
