Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for Training Specialist/Instructor (Part Time) opportunities at the Hanford Site.
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Conduct instructor-led training, primarily on Conduct of Operations, Conduct of Work, and Human and Organizational Performance (HOP, formerly ‘HPI’), and topics as directed.
Update existing course materials on these topics using Company processes and procedures.
Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate project training using the Company’s systematic approach to training.
Develop training materials such as Job-task lists, On-the-Job Training qualification cards, Qualification Standards, classroom training materials and knowledge tests.
Ensure that work activities to develop and revise training materials and procedures comply with Company standards, processes, and procedures.
Work with functional managers, technical authorities, subject matter experts, and field workers to ensure procedures are written in a manner commensurate with the training, qualification, and experience of the workers.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (two years of experience for one year of education).
- Minimum of five (5) years of training and classroom instruction experience.
- 1+ years’ experience of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
- 1+ years’ experience of regulatory requirements for training and facility operations.
- 1+ years’ experience in developing and delivering Conduct of Operations and/or Human Performance Improvement training.
- 1+ years’ experience in developing and delivering operational, maintenance, or other technical training related to operations of pumps, values, ventilation system, waste transfer systems, chemical systems, radiological controls, Lockout/Tagout process, conduct of operations, and documented safety analysis.
- 1+ years’ experience in developing and delivering training related to administrative processes for operators, operation supervisors, operation managers, radiological control technicians, radiological control supervisors and managers, maintenance craft, and maintenance management, etc.
