- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Work from blueprints, schematics, specifications, and manuals using various tools.
- Diagnose and repair issues with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and drive systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Inspect equipment and facilities, reporting potential issues to supervisors.
- Perform metal fabrication (welding, drilling, milling, tapping, turning steel) to meet plant needs.
- Maintain records of work performed and reports as required.
- Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of work areas and equipment.
- Execute miscellaneous maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, and minor electrical work.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as required
- High school diploma or equivalent; Trade or Technical School preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English to interpret setup sheets, SOPs, and communicate effectively.
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and drive system experience a must
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn.
- Detail-oriented.
- Must possess the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
