A respected and rapidly growing healthcare diagnostics organization is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join its team in the Amarillo, TX area. This is an excellent opportunity to work with state-of-the-art cardiopulmonary testing equipment and contribute meaningful diagnostic insights that support physicians in delivering top-quality patient care.

Job Duties

  • Conduct cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) at various primary care locations
  • Interpret and monitor 12-lead ECGs, oxygen consumption (VO₂), and anaerobic threshold (AT)
  • Serve as a vital member of the clinical care team, helping to improve diagnostic accuracy
  • Transport, set up, and maintain testing equipment at different locations
  • Communicate findings effectively to providers and collaborate with clinic staff
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure high-quality patient interaction

Qualifications

  • Degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Clinical experience with stress testing and pulmonary function testing under physician supervision
  • Proficient in interpreting ECGs, understanding gas exchange, and VO₂ testing
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer troubleshooting
  • Must be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate to Amarillo, TX
