Are you detail-oriented and want to start a career in healthcare records management? Do you have some experience with medical audits and electronic health records? Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Medical Records Analyst. This person will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of patient health information and is responsible for managing, analyzing, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of patient medical records within the healthcare organization. This role involves reviewing medical documentation and maintaining data integrity to support patient care, billing, and regulatory requirements for Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Outpatient Clinics.

This person will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of patient health information and is responsible for managing, analyzing, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of patient medical records within the healthcare organization. Education
Minimum Qualifications or Equivalents
- High School diploma required
- AS or BS in Health Information Management or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare required.
- Post-acute care experience preferred.
- Medical records experience preferred.
- RHIT certification preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare privacy and security regulations.
- Proficiency with EHR systems and coding software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop and lift medium weight files under 20 lbs.
