Summary: The Visual Graphic Designer has expertise in animation, motion graphics, static design, creative content, and website design. This role drives the visual narrative for Deseret First Credit Union, producing innovative motion and static assets, interactive web experiences, and multi-channel campaigns that engage audiences digitally and in print. The Visual Graphic Designer collaborates closely with marketing and cross-functional teams, upholds brand integrity, oversees creative vendor partnerships, and champions modern design trends. This hybrid role requires advanced proficiency in motion, graphic, and web design tools, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for elevating the organization’s visual presence across all platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and protects the integrity of the credit union visual brand
  • Create compelling motion graphics and animation for digital channels, marketing campaigns, social media, and the corporate website.
  • Design responsive and interactive web assets such as landing pages, micro-sites, and promotional content.
  • Conceptualize and produce graphics for print, web, email, and cross-channel marketing—in line with the credit union’s visual brand strategy.Analyzes and monitors the effectiveness of marketing promotions and campaigns
  • Develop multi-channel campaigns that leverage animation, motion, and interactivity to captivate audiences and drive measurable results.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness using analytics and participate in data-driven creative refinements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and pitch creative concepts integrating motion, graphic, and web design.
  • Act as point of contact for multimedia vendors: guide material formats, oversee video production elements, and ensure consistency.
  • Uphold brand standards: ensure all moving and static assets align with the organization’s brand narrative and values.
  • Ensure quality control for color accuracy, file formats, resolutions, and platform readiness across channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Marketing is preferred
  • Associate degree in Graphic Design or Marketing is required
  • 3-5 years of experience in motion graphics, web design, and/or graphic design roles.

  • Experience with responsive design and web interactivity.
  • Eye for innovative, modern aesthetics best suited for motion and digital mediums.
  • Portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, animation, web design, and graphic design excellence.
  • Effective under deadlines, across multiple concurrent projects.

Computer Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong skills in motion design and animation tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Blender (or equivalent).
  • Expertise in web and interactive design with Figma.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development best practices.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management systems and cloud-based sharing platforms (e.g., Dropbox, SharePoint).
  • Comfort adapting to new creative technologies, plug-ins, and productivity tools as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for cross-team collaboration and presentations.
  • Experience using analytics or marketing automation tools for creative performance tracking is a plus.
