Key Responsibilities

  • Market Growth & Opportunity Development
    • Identify and pursue new project opportunities in key sectors: commercial, municipal, higher education, and healthcare.
    • Create and execute market-entry strategies that increase visibility and drive pipeline growth.
    • Stay informed on market trends, competitor movements, and upcoming development plans.
  • Client & Relationship Management
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with developers, architects, public sector clients, and other stakeholders.
    • Represent Foresight at networking events, industry conferences, and community engagements.
    • Conduct follow-ups with clients to assess satisfaction and generate repeat business.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Collaboration
    • Align efforts with preconstruction, marketing, and operations to support company-wide goals.
    • Refine pursuit strategies and proposals with internal teams to ensure strong presentation and positioning.
    • Promote brand visibility and reputation through strategic outreach and partnership building.
  • Proposal & Pursuit Management
    • Lead RFQ/RFP strategy and execution in partnership with marketing and preconstruction teams.
    • Organize pursuit efforts and deliver compelling proposals to maximize contract awards.
Qualifications

  • 10+ years in business development, with 3-5 years in the commercial construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of the Tampa market and established local industry relationships
  • Proven success in identifying, pursuing, and closing major project opportunities
  • Excellent negotiation, networking, and presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a strategic mindset and strong follow-through
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment
  • Associate degree or higher preferred

Schedule

  • Full-Time | Monday-Friday
  • Hybrid role with local travel throughout the Tampa area

Location

  • Hybrid work setup based in Tampa, FL
  • Travel within the Tampa market expected; occasional statewide or regional travel
