We’re looking for an operational leader with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to help us scale sustainably and drive day-to-day excellence. As VP of Operations, you’ll oversee field operations, logistics, and fleet performance, while leading initiatives that improve efficiency, elevate the patient experience, and support long-term growth.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead Strategy and Execution

  • Design and execute operational strategies aligned with Royal’s mission and business goals
  • Build scalable systems to support growth, compliance, and high-quality service
  • Drive integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post-merger alignment


Drive Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily operations including fleet, field logistics, and service delivery (BLS, ALS and CCT)
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and drive continuous process improvement
  • Use performance data to optimize resource allocation, reduce costs, and meet SLAs


Build and Empower Teams

  • Develop a high-performing operations team with clear goals, coaching, and accountability
  • Foster a culture of ownership, servant leadership, and professional development
  • Support succession planning and leadership pipeline development


Collaborate and Represent

  • Partner cross-functionally with executive and field teams to align operations with company goals
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve the patient and employee experience


Manage Budgets and Performance

  • Oversee operational budgets and cost control initiatives
  • Use data to inform decision-making and drive profitability through efficiency
  • Track key performance indicators to guide strategy and maintain accountability


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Operations, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in healthcare, transportation, or a related industry
  • Deep understanding of logistics, process optimization, and resource management
  • Proven leadership experience and results, with a track record of building and leading engaged high-performing teams
  • Expertise in operational metrics, financial analysis, and resource management
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and results-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels, and engage and inspire diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, prioritize competing demands, and drive results
