**Major Duties**
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent to other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Assisting customers in resolving storage and distribution issues. Recommending improvements for storage and distribution operations. Performing planning, sustainment, inventory management, storage and distribution, and associated supply technician functions in support of the military industrial customer. Monitoring distribution, quality, and storage performance indicators and programs. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

**Major Duties**
- Serves as the DLA Aviation Industrial Support Activity (ISA) Operational Division Chief at a major Air Force industrial facility (Air Logistics Complex).
- The Division Chief is responsible for all actions, activities and coordination performed by the Division to provide effective/efficient storage and distribution support for the military service production groups.
- Responsible for local implementation and oversight of DoD regulations, DLA policy to include developing and reengineering Enterprise Standard Operating Procedures and military services policy for inventory programs.
- Develops plan of action and milestones (POAM) for the industrial activity to ensure performance goals are achieved, problem areas are identified and targeted for improvement, and that the requirements of the inventory programs are met.
- Monitors inventory programs for independence and separation of duties, analyzes mission for comparison to industry resource standards and performance.
- Ensures establishment of and compliance with DLA Safety program within industrial operations.
