Job Title: HR System and Data Analyst

General Overview: The HR System and Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization’s Human Resources Systems. This role ensures data integrity, supports system upgrades and implementations, and provides analytical insights to improve HR processes and decision-making.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain HR systems.
  • Assist HR System RFP selection process and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards on HR metrics, trends and forecasts to support decision-making, strategic planning and compliance.
  • Analyze HR data to prepare reports and presents findings and recommendations to the HR director and other company leaders.
  • Utilizes predictive analytics to help identify risks and analyze patterns across the organization to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security and efficiency across all HR platforms.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and documentation to meet evolving business needs.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Manage HR System data automation and integration with other platforms, to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to facilitate core functions, including payroll, benefits administration, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Provide technical support and training to HR staff and end-users on system functionalities.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to implement new features and resolve system issues.
  • Identifies, recommends, and programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
  • May assist HR leadership with departmental budgets
  • May conduct or assist with conducting HR data audits to ensure compliance
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in HRIS administration.
  • Stays informed about regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in system configurations and data management.
  • Completes special projects and performs all other duties as assigned.

Essential Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
  • Four (4) years of experience in HR Systems administration or HR Systems analysis is required.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP or other professional designation is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, including payroll, benefits, and compliance.
  • Experience with project management and process improvement.
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring system and data compliance.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within team and across various departments.
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • High level of accuracy in data management, reporting, and system maintenance.
  • MS Office proficiency - Advanced preferred (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook).
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
  • Able to maintain strict protocols of confidential and sensitive information.
