Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, and delivering quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

  • Develops and updates comprehensive nursing care plans based on assessments and team collaboration.
  • Implements patient care according to plans, prioritizing based on acuity, ensuring safety, accuracy, and documentation.
  • Evaluates patient responses to interventions, progress toward goals, and revises plans weekly.
  • Provides education to patients and families, utilizing adaptable teaching resources and acting as a preceptor and role model.
  • Maintains effective communication, documents accurately, reports patient conditions, and advocates for safe care practices.
  • Meets competency expectations related to self and team leadership.
  • Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred); experience of 6 months to 1 year as an RN or with a GN permit.
  • Licenses include active RN license, BLS, and relevant permits; schedule is TBD, full-time position.
