At LSI, we are dedicated to wrapping compassionate care around the children and families we are privileged to serve. Our therapists are central to our mission and serve as expert advisors to LSI's early childhood, behavioral health, and family safety teams.

We are seeking a full-time/part-time licensed mental health therapist to provide comprehensive mental health services remotely across the state of Iowa. This role offers a flexible schedule, allowing the therapist to determine their preferred hours and work environment. Services will be delivered entirely through telehealth, ensuring clients receive high-quality mental health support from the safety and comfort of their own homes.

In This Role, You Will

  • Provide community-based therapy and counseling assessments via telehealth
  • Serve a diverse population of children, adults, couples, and families
  • Develop individual treatment plans to fully address each client's behavioral and mental health needs
  • Manage case plans and re-evaluate as necessary to optimize client outcomes
  • Receive free clinical licensure supervision from one of our Clinical Supervisors
  • Collaborate with a statewide team of mental health professionals

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or other approved related fields (LMFT, LMHC)
  • Must be licensed in the state of Iowa (temporary and provisionally licensed applicants are encouraged to apply!)
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Proficient with electronic client care databases and MS Office software
  • Flexible availability-some evening or weekend hours may be required to meet client needs
  • A valid driver's license, good driving record, and auto insurance (for possible in-person or community outreach, if applicable, or as required by certain clients)
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry, and criminal history
