Position Summary:

This individual will lead all aspects of “Mission Control” - financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, enabling data driven decision-making and supporting the company’s long-term strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will bring a strong mix of leadership, technical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive financial performance
Responsibilities:
- Lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business performance.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate financial models that support business decision-making, including long-range planning and scenario analysis.
- Prepare detailed weekly dashboards, using data visualization tools, variance analyses, flash reports, performance metrics, and actionable insights for senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Be the nerve center of business information for management across the company with actionable insights that can drive performance improvements.
- Serve as a key business partner to the CFO, COO, CEO and other executives, providing financial insights that guide strategic decisions.
- Lead the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and other financial dashboards to monitor business performance.
- Support the evaluation of M&A opportunities and integration activities, including conducting financial due diligence and post-acquisition performance tracking.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals and drive accountability across the organization.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the FP&A team, fostering a culture of excellence around quality, accuracy, timeliness and continuous improvement and professional development.
Requirements:
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Operating a computer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Science or related field; MBA, CPA or CFA is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Early career exposure to financial modeling best practices is a plus.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in facilities management, emergency response, or a related commercial service industry.
- Exposure to private equity decision making a plus.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proven ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex financial information to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with a track record of developing and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to operate at both tactical and strategic levels, comfortable in a hands-on role as needed
