Job Summary:
Warner Bros. Discovery is a leading entertainment company that offers a diverse range of career opportunities. They are seeking an Associate, Global Brand Product to assist in the operations of commercial and strategic initiatives, driving revenue and franchise growth through licensed promotions and products.
Responsibilities:
• Prospect new business; aid in pitches and presentations
• Support global promotions program executions; partner with Brand Assurance, Product Development, Global Franchise Management & Marketing, etc. to ensure that initiatives reflect WBD quality and franchise objectives; provide clarity and approvals as needed
• Research and respond to licensee email requests
• Oversee calendars & trackers – department specific and global enterprise shared
• Input digital marketing support & newsletter requests
• Collect GBP samples; manage requests for product
• Update and socialize Brand Product & Promotions guidelines
• Create and process deal point memos & contract modifications
• Handle collection of forecasts, accruals, and royalty statements
• On-board new licensees
• Manage NDAs and WBD event (summit, Licensing Show, etc.) invites
• Other projects as required assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of experience with background in Consumer Products, Licensing, Promotions, or Partnerships required
• Basic licensing or marketing/promotions industry knowledge with intellectual curiosity
• Detail oriented, organized, self-starter, coachable
• Ability to create and deliver pitches/presentations
• Must be able to handle multiple projects, prioritize assignments, and meet critical deadlines
• Demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills
• Team player with proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively cross-functionally
• Strong and varied computer software knowledge required (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, Airtable, Monday.com, etc)
Preferred:
• entertainment experience preferred
• BA/BS degree with coursework in business, marketing, or related field strongly preferred
• Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge is a plus
