Location: Missoula, Montana (Hybrid - Onsite 3 Days/Week)
Duration: 9-Month Contract to Hire

What You’ll Do
Analyze legacy systems and define modern service boundaries
Write clear, detailed user stories with edge-case handling and system behavior insights
Create technical specifications, API contracts, and data mappings
Partner with Engineering, Product, QA, and external vendors for seamless execution
Coach teams in story refinement and cloud-focused acceptance criteria
Ensure compliance, performance, and data model fidelity across modernization efforts
What You Bring
5+ years in systems analysis, solution architecture, or technical product ownership
Strong understanding of cloud-native patterns, REST APIs, and modernization strategies
Experience with .NET, Azure, distributed systems, and SQL-based analysis
Familiarity with DDD, Swagger/OpenAPI, and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
Background in healthcare, payroll, or compliance-heavy domains is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Leadership qualities with a knack for mentoring and guiding teams
