POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for carrying out assigned duties in accordance with current state and federal regulations along with established company policy and procedures. The primary purpose is to advise assigned communities on opportunities related to nursing activities and health services, review and suggest change in nursing organization along with administrative procedures, analyze techniques, and recommend modifications.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for carrying out assigned duties in accordance with current state and federal regulations along with established company policy and procedures. The primary purpose is to advise assigned communities on opportunities related to nursing activities and health services, review and suggest change in nursing organization along with administrative procedures, analyze techniques, and recommend modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts on-site routine visits to assess each community’s compliance with the company’s policies/procedures and governmental regulations.
- Assists with the development and revision of clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and current standards of practice.
- Assists Executive Directors, DONs, and other key leaders in the screening of applicants for nurse management positions.
- Assists Executive Directors, DONs in educating, implementing systems, monitoring, and developing improvement plans to promote positive resident outcomes.
- Helps develop short and long-term goals and objectives consistent with the company’s standards and governmental regulations.
- Acts as a support system to the community as needed throughout the state survey process, including assistance with survey prep, writing a corrective action plan, and monitoring compliance.
- Helps train nursing departments and community managers on government regulations and company policies/procedures when requested.
- Partners with other consultants to develop and implement action plans to assist the community departments in improving compliance.
- Conducts preventative and compliant driven audits of clinical compliance issues at each assigned community.
- Completes and submits detailed community visit reports and audits results specifying compliance issues and corrective actions to the community leadership team and senior leadership.
- Assess, trouble-shoot, and problem solve to meet the needs of the communities, residents, and clinical team.
- Performs other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice.
- 3-4 years of experience working in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting as an RN
- Active State nursing license is required.
- Multi-site experience is preferred but not required.
- Professional, dedicated, and knowledgeable with solid communication and teaching/training skills.
- Ability to communicate information to a variety of nursing and community care team members.
- Ability to ensure we are meeting regulatory standards and enacts correctional measures as needed.
