This executive role will define and execute a forward-thinking digital strategy, champion a people-first culture, and enable digital maturity through strategic deployment of technologies including MES/SCADA, IoT, AI/ML, robotics, and advanced analytics.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the strategy, performance, and human capital development for DT teams supporting secure, high-availability manufacturing systems.
- Manage uptime, functionality, and performance of digital systems that underpin the Delivery Vehicle business unit.
- Coach and develop teams through performance reviews, career planning, and leadership modeling aligned with the DT C.A.R.E. competencies.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, audit standards, and defense-grade cybersecurity protocols.
- Develop a two-year digital strategy roadmap with enterprise alignment, measurable outcomes, and transformation milestones.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with plant operations, Cybersecurity, Corporate Infrastructure, and Applications teams.
- Oversee implementation of smart factory technologies at Spartanburg and other production sites.
- Guide budgeting, ROI analysis, and IT financial practices to ensure long-term digital innovation and agility.
- Use operational KPIs and technology metrics to inform continuous improvement across digital platforms.
- Champion change management and strategic transformation across enterprise digital initiatives.
- Represent executive priorities to technical teams while advocating for business-aligned digital architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience and 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven success leading large-scale digital initiatives in complex, regulated environments.
- Expertise in ITIL, COBIT, data analytics, agile methodologies, financial planning, and risk management.
- Strong communication, coaching, negotiation, and change leadership skills.
- Ability to cultivate innovation, build high-performing teams, and align technology with business goals.
- Master’s degree preferred; experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
