Compensation: $23 – $26/hour (equivalent to approximately $47,840 – $54,080 annually , based on a 40-hour workweek)
About The Role
We are seeking an HR Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Senior HR Coordinator and the HR Department in Arcadia, California. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to gain hands-on HR experience in a fast-paced, multi-state organization. The HR Assistant will play a key part in recruiting, time and attendance management, and supporting HR operations nationwide , including employees located in Texas, Florida, California, Michigan, Arizona, Washington, Colorado, New Jersey, and Canada.

Key Responsibilities
Recruiting Support
- Post job openings and source candidates across various platforms.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Independently interview candidates and provide feedback to the Senior HR Coordinator and hiring managers.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes via ADP Workforce Now to ensure seamless employee transitions.
- Monitor and review daily employee timecard submissions.
- Communicate with employees and managers to resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and submit finalized time and attendance reports for payroll processing.
- Maintain employee records in compliance with federal, state, and provincial regulations.
- Assist in coordinating company-wide training plans in collaboration with department leaders.
- Provide support during employee orientations, surveys, and performance review cycles.
- Help prepare materials and logistics for nationwide HR site visits.
- Perform other HR administrative support tasks as needed.
- Experience: 1–2 years of administrative or HR-related experience, with prior recruiting experience, including conducting interviews , strongly preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems preferred.
- Recruiting Skills: Ability to source candidates, conduct phone screenings and in-person interviews, schedule interviews, and assist in onboarding processes effectively.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with employees and management.
- Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in managing employee records, timecards, and compliance documentation.
- Team Player: Willingness to assist across various HR functions, supporting the Senior HR Coordinator and department needs.
- Confidentiality: Must handle sensitive employee information with discretion and always maintain strict confidentiality.
- Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage beginning the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment
- 401(k) plan with company match after 90 days
- Paid Sick Time and Vacation on an accrual basis in accordance with company policy (sick time begins to accrue at date of hire and is usable after 90 days of employment).
- Eligible for the company’s vacation policy after completion of 90 days of employment.
