Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the supervision of Early Childhood Education Specialists.
- Ensures staff understands and adheres to policies and procedures as well as contractual obligations with CSS quality and curriculum providers.
- Compiles and reports on all aspects of the Texas Rising Star (TRS) program and supporting quality initiatives
- Prepares request for procurement requests and makes sound recommendation and oversight for quality initiative contracts
- Identifies and documents process improvement opportunities and participates in project teams to develop and implement new ideas and /or process.
- Develops and maintains a close working relationship with Texas Rising Star providers, vendor contracts, and other departments within child care services
- Supervises Early Care and Education Specialists
- Participates in local Early Education Initiatives and statewide as appropriate
- Performs other duties as may be assigned
