HMM is looking for an IT Technician to provide support for the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, and installing software solutions. You will be responsible for the administration and internal support of the Company’s PCs, printers, and related equipment. Tasks include end-user support, setting up email accounts, password resets, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades, and configurations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the end users
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through Task Manager
  • Monitor Help tickets and process first-in, first-out based on priority and escalate as necessary
  • Assist with setting up computers for new users
  • Manage PC setup and deployment using standard hardware, images and software
  • Perform workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
  • Work on special projects as they arise
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science, or a related field
  • Experience:
  • Requires at least 1 year of experience in IT technical support
  • Essential Skills:
  • A+, N+ or above certifications are strongly desired
  • Familiar with Windows OS, MS Office, Wireless setup, imaging, and troubleshooting etc
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English and Korean
  • Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to provide support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
  • Solid communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management

Environment / Equipment / Physical demands

  • Work performed in an office environment where the noise level is moderate. Regularly required to stand, sit, and walk around the office. Frequently required to work on a computer. Occasionally required to use force to lift, push and pull up to 20 pounds.
  • Requires up to 10% travel.

The pay range listed for this position is the anticipated starting salary or wage range, and the final offered rate will be based on individual merit and the relative compensation of employees in similar positions.
