Job Details

  • Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
  • Support the Capital Assets Management Department.
  • Salary is up to $59,340.00 based on education and experience.
  • This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.

Position Summary

This position provides financial tracking of P-Card expenditures, maintains complex purchasing records for maintenance contracts, and assists with the acquisition of goods and services used for routine and emergency facility functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare invoices and payments of claims, requisitions, purchase orders, etc.
  • Requesting and tracking change orders as needed.
  • Issues service work orders
  • Assist with contracts
  • Acquisitions of goods and services
  • Develops and maintains confidential or complex files
  • Interprets and advises internal and external customers on departmental or program rules, regulations, and laws
  • May establish educational and/or training programs
  • Maintain organized electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other materials
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Assist in energy management software entry
  • Train as a backup event planner and State Capitol front desk clerk
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. This position requires standing, bending, crouching, reaching, sitting, hand and finger dexterity. Occasional travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements include three years of technical clerical work and two years of technical experience in contracting and/or procurement; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting 30 semester hours for each year of the technical clerical work only.
